What’s next?

Having completed a year’s worth of weekly blogs, I wanted to do just a little more with this.

As the blog title reads “1 word, 1000 pictures”, I thought it might be appropriate to see if I can gather many pictorial responses for the posts.

One of my favourite form of art is the Artist Trading Card. It is a form of miniature art measuring 2.5″ by 3.5″ and could be done in any medium. I love the diversity of expression and the sharing of art that ATC promotes.

You can paint, draw, create a collage, fold an origami, sew, knit, … the possibilities are endless.

So, my hope is that within the next 6 to 12 months, I will receive between 1 to 4 ATCs in response to each post. These will then be put together into a book which will be published electronically, and if there is also the chance, in print as well.

As part of the ATC tradition, you will also get an ATC in exchange for each ATC you have submitted. This ATC will be one of those that have been submitted and though selected for you, you can be sure that it will be a piece of art that has been lovingly made.
